Commercial Lender - Middle Market

This is an officer level position which requires proficiency in all areas of commercial banking, superior credit skills, and customer service and negotiations skills as well as significant bank product knowledge.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage existing commercial loan customer base and develop new business from referral sources and through cold calling efforts. Targeted business revenue size of $10MM to $250MM.   Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new commercial business relationships Maintain and develop existing portfolio by assessing and meeting client's business and personal needs Negotiate proper loan structures and effectively cross sell products Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past due  and defaulted loans Maintains comprehensive understanding of current on commercial products offered in the market and keeps informed of all relevant industry trends and practices. Effectively manage the tracking of call activity and pipeline opportunities via the CRM system   Wintrust Financial Corporation (Wintrust) is a financial services company based in Rosemont, Illinois, with approximately $27 billion in assets. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
