Reportingto the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsiblefor, in collaboration with the Marketing Director, Marketing Specialist, BrandManager, and a large cross-functional team, to execute campaigns andinitiatives to achieve and exceed revenue goals. The marketing manager willdirect all go-to-sales and go-to-market activities across a product portfolioincludes a mixture of established bestsellers and high-growth products. Basedin Chicago, this role will manage the end‚€“to-end marketing and salesactivities, from initial product information creation through all aspects ofmarketing campaign development and execution to sales strategy, training andsales tools. To support these objectives, the Marketing Manager will identifyand deploy direct marketing strategies to drive digital growth, includingthought leadership campaigns and lead generation tactics, build relationshipswith customers, develop high impact events, maximize company presence atappropriate conference and trade shows, help to create high quality marketingmaterials, along with additional demand generation activities to drive leadsand support other team goals.
CriticalFunctions:
Develop and execute a comprehensive,strategic go-to-market plan.
Work with product team colleagues toidentify and evaluate digital product and service opportunities.
Create and leverage content tosupport campaigns.
Work with stakeholders to write anddevelop portfolio positioning and messaging in alignment with corporate strategy,and ensure these are effectively communicated to target audiences.
Provide sales support to internaland external customers.
Build relationships with keydecision makers, current customers, and thought leaders.
Conduct customer and internal-facingpresentations on a regular basis in both live and virtual environments.
Develop internal and external salesand training resources to help the organization promote the Accounting program,answer customer/rep inquiries, and troubleshoot special problems.
Coordinate the development andmaintenance of essential product information by working with team to developaccurate and current data for all products.
Oversee an annual convention andevent plan.
Own tactical responsibility, at thedirection of Marketing Directors, related to implementation of digitalstrategies within top priority campaigns and messaging.
Analyze market trends and potentialmarket opportunities and participate in market research, market planning, andproduct development.
Complete other duties as assigned tomeet company goals.
Asuccessful candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalentwork experience.
Two plus years of client facing Salesand/or Marketing experience, preferably in the field of education and/ortechnology.
Strong understanding of emergingmarketing trends, technologies, and integration strategies.
Strong ability to identify,prioritize, and execute marketing objectives to grow market share, promotecustomer retention, and drive revenue.
The ability to consistently meetdeadlines, and on occasion, turn projects around in a short timeframe.
Success in managing and deliveringvirtual and/or live events and conducting compelling presentations‚€”bothinternally and externally.
Successful track record working onintegrated marketing programs with multiple stakeholders.
The creativity and ingenuity neededto create content strategies that balance user needs with businessrequirements.
Self-starter with a strong sense ofurgency and desire to win.
Energetic team player who iscomfortable collaborating in a large, and often fast-paced, team environment.
Ability to make decisions and trackROI based on data and analytics.
Excellent verbal, written andcommunication skills.
Ability to travel approximately 35%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
