The Group Leader-Warehouse is responsible for leading the shipping, receiving and warehouse personnel in their daily processes of receiving product into the ERP system, storing material in an organized and safe manner and shipping products to the customer. This is a working position which will require the Group Leader to process shipments of small parcel, airfreight, truck and international shipments. The Group Leader will assign work to other members of the department in order to meet company goals.
Working with the Materials Manager, insure that people are working by giving direction to the employees to achieve departmental standards and company goals. Give monthly assessments to the employees in the department after reviewing assessments with manager. Criteria will be established jointly with manager.
Print and prepare shipping documents for pulling material for shipment.
Assign warehouse personnel the tasks for preparing customer orders for shipment.
Process in the ERP system all of the shipments for the day (small parcel, airfreight, truck and international).
Periodic monitoring of receiving personnel to insure that material is being received and put away in an organized and timely manner.
Periodic monitoring of material handlers to insure that they are pulling parts for the production area and putting material away.
InsureEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
