Job Description:
Operate mail service equipment:
postage machine, inserter, and scanners.
Serve as liaison for mail service and other departments.
Deliver supplies needed for small mailing projects.
(Large projects are done by Mailroom staff on the inserter) Clean and adjust machines daily.
Track and maintain records and logs of mailing.
Sort, distribute and collect US mail and UPS mail daily.
Pick-up and deliver materials for special mailings when needed.
Read and understand claims forms and whom they go to.
Scan incoming mail daily.
Knowledge of all departments' paperwork and ability to index to the proper folder/department.
Preparing, scanning, and indexing accounts receivable and claims legal documents.
Scanning claims batches from adjusters daily.
Shredding documents as necessary.
Working through returned mail to request change of address updates.
Working with Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain bad address database and send out requests for updated information.
Responding to request for help, supplies, and managing counts of printers and copiers in the building.
