Description $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!! (Paid in halves of 30 and 90 days) Grand Avenue Preschool in Burr Ridge is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers! Age groups:
Infants, Toddlers, Twos To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, CDA or higher, and the ability to pass all background checks.
Previous childcare experience preferred.

Monday - Friday, 7:
00am-3:
30pm, 8:
00am-5:

$18-21/hr.

Responsibilities:
Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.
Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
