Essential Functions Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms Verify required documents received from members for eligibility/benefit coverage Receiving and updating eligibility cases Verify eligibility is accurate and up to date from daily eligibility reports Respond to written inquiries from both members and internal departments regarding general eligibility inquires Process urgent eligibility updates through the system Communicate with internal departments regarding eligibility updates The candidate must be able to understand the different Health and Welfare Plans managed by the fund Provide excellent customer service to members by phone and in-person meetings.
Review and Determine Coordination of Benefits Available to work Saturday overtime when needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent 2-4 years of prior clerical experience Specialized skills/technical knowledge Proficient in relevant computer applications.
Such as Salesforce, MS Office applications Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data timely Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction Demonstrate passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality The ability to work well under pressure (most of the paperwork is time sensitive) Other duties as assigned.
