The Claims Integrity Supervisor will assist the Claims Integrity Manager in identifying and resolving issues, being proactive, and developing solutions within the Revenue Cycle.
Manage day-to-day billing tasks and set priorities for the Claims and appeals team.
This includes but is not limited to balancing practice partner expectations and staff concerns and schedules.
This position requires a thorough understanding of the accounts receivables process, and knowledge of the billing and collection process, revenue cycle duties, and detailed analysis.
The position involves coordination and teamwork within the organization, a strong focus on continual improvement, compassion and alignment with the organization's mission, proactive communication, and best practice focus.
Supervisor duties include:
Finding coverage, or aiding staff in their workload.
Evaluating team performance through individual audits, and providing feedback to the SR.
Claims Integrity Manager when necessary.
Working with the Lead Team Trainer to ensure current staff members receive additional development and training per audit findings.
Lead the team in executing and meeting individual/team goals.
Helping to resolve employee issues and disputes with professionalism.
Ability to handle practice concerns related to outstanding AR.
Assist the department manager in overseeing off-site staff and their work performance, going over patient accounts, and placing calls to patients when needed.
Coordinate staff schedules.
Review and approval of staff time card submissions.
Monitors and maintains the new hire onboarding process.
Provides supervision to the team to ensure tasks are completed correctly and timely.
Works as an extension of their manager, both addressing issues or barriers in real-time and providing feedback to the manager about issues and barriers they are addressing.
Coaches staff, identifies areas of improvement, and formulates solution recommendations.
Keeps staff informed of new or updated standards, systems, procedures, forms, and manuals through staff meetings and verbal and written communications.
Identifies areas where operational efficiencies can be improved and suggests alternative methods and procedures for solving problems.
Ensures the claims and appeals teams meet department metrics, quality, and productivity goals.
Collaborates with the training teams to provide comprehensive staff training.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Other job duties as assigned.
Claims Integrity Supervisor should demonstrate the following:

Qualifications:
Associate degree in health information technology, finance, or a similar field, OR 3
years of revenue cycle billing experience.
Experience with multiple EMR, PM, and insurance portals - Electronic Health Records (EHR) system Job Type:
